Does your network seem slow?
You may want to consider upgrading your
NIC (network interface card) or network adapter to 1gb.
Most of you currently have 10/100mb
network cards, which in some cases are OK. But If you experience a
delay when using network drives (drives or “shares” on a server
or another computer) then you need to upgrade.
Let me break it down for you below is
an explanation of how fast you currently are and how fast you can be:

100mb = 104,587,600 bytes
1000mb (or 1gb) = 1,073,741,824 bytes
So as you can see it would be 10 times
quicker then your current network.
And it is reasonably inexpensive.
If you are interested in speeding up
your network, making any app that is run from a server 10 times
faster, or moving files 10 times faster, then give me a call and I'll
explain it to you and setup a time to come and evaluate your
situation.
*the router/switch will also need to be upgraded*
